This one is a fun one to make! Notice the base, what is it made of...?
This was made for a soldier who served in Iraq. He carried this knife with him as his C.Q.C. weapon. He is now a local police officer. We have since made two similar knives for soldiers.
I didn't know what Steampunk was until we made this knife.
This set has a nice combo sheath that goes with it.
Ah yes, the copper and brass steampunk knife idea. Always a market for that.
By chance do you sell these and if so where I can I look at available ones? I don't need another knife but these are so beautiful, I could justify it to the wife that I need one...
BLKFJDC, we do sell them! Right now you can see available knifes on our facebook page at Custom Knives and Steel by Roeder and Pyron - Hermiston, OR - Local Business | Facebook look in the photos under the album "Available Pieces", or because we are custom bladesmiths, have us taylor one to your specifics.
Not that everyone needs or wants a sword, but heck, they're awesome!
"You call that a knife, this is a knife"
Dang it! Why did you have to make swords? I don't even want to know your prices, cause I have had a strong interest in one of these for many years.
We can make it happen! If you are really interested, lets talk. PM me and let's get some dialouge rolling.
maybe later, when things settle down, but for now, other things are more pressing.
Here's my latest piece from the shop. This is a hunters set. 3 1/2" skinner & caping knife with a diamond sharpener. All is transported in a custom leather carry case that fits on the belt. $450.00 for a setup like this. Pass it along if anyone is interested.
Dream, Dream, Dream...
Just got confirmation that mine is in the mail on its way to me. I am so excited. I will post pics when it arrives.
New from the shop !
125 layer Damascus Steampunk. 4" Blade, 8" O.A.L.
1/8" copper scales with mechanical gears. They all move ! Solid Brass ring gear base.
Now that is ART that deserves a protective acrylic cover for display.
at first glance I thought that was a knuckle duster.
Thank you ghrit for the kind words! This is the second Steam Punk knife we have done, and I have to say I had never heard of Steam Punk before the first
