Here is the Damascus Gut Hook I made my brother. The blade is Damascus so it will match the Damascus double barrel that will go to him when my dad dies. The guard is brass and is soldiered in place. The spacers are red fiber. The grips are rare Australian Lacewood that have 10 coats of tung oil and 5 coats of wax on them. The pins are mosaic and are made up from 4 separate pieces that are imbedded in colored epoxy. The sheath is ambidextrous and the blade will fit either way – just flip the strap so it still snaps to the rear (it is set up for a lefty).
