Dehydrating Corn

Dehydrating corn kernels for long term storage (3-5 years depending on storage method / conditions).

 

Guess I'll just shuck the ears and hang it in the barn like the old folks did.

 

If one has the luxury of a barn, then that is an option, however, if one has limited space, but has the technology that was unavailable to the old folks, then one does what one has to, to achieve the same goal...keeping a reserve of food in case of austere circumstances.
