Now AI in fact states that it is a fake, and it may well be, but the quality and nature of the ability to bias AI leaves you in a situation that no one knows what is true on the internet. These AI-generated images also falsely featured Jeffrey Epstein, Bill Gates, and others, aiming to misinform using AI content. Fact-checkers confirmed the photos are fabricated, likely originating from parody/propaganda accounts. Fabricated Content: The images depict Mamdani as a baby or young child with various high-profile individuals. Context of Fake Images: These deepfakes followed the release of documents from the Jeffrey Epstein files in January 2026, which mentioned Mamdani’s mother, filmmaker Mira Nair. The Reality: Mamdani was 18 years old in 2009, making the childhood scenes impossible. He has denounced these images as an example of digital misinformation and AI-generated disinformation. Other Context: Other images also falsely linked Epstein to being related to Mamdani, which is untrue.
