$18 Billion? Sorry, but I find that awfully hard to believe...no, no I don't believe it. First, because a quick Google stated he's total worth at $8 Billion - don't get me wrong - I am not saying this figure is correct but... Second, it would not take even a quarter of that figure to purchase Senators, Congressmen, Judges and, in general, fund the riots, mayhem and good old gun-hating chaos. Nah... The people that write this outlandish stuff does more harm and good, same as some of the stuff spouted by Alex Jones. They are not helping the situation...and maybe that is what they want, make so much smoke that no one can see the real fire.

 

The sad truth is Ol' George wouldn't have to spend all his own worth, he has extremely powerful alleys invested in him, or at least his cause, and it would only take a billion here and there from him and a few others ( Mikey Bloominburg) to effectively fund those ambitions.
I call bullchit on the posted article! The fact is, no amount of ranting, money, policy, or other actions will completely disarm this country. There are those who will simply not comply, those who will stand up, and those who turn yellow belly up, but ultimately, until the U.N. comes marching in demanding emediate surrender of all weps, there will be no sweeping gun control! And when the blue helmets show up, it's game on!
That old Nazi needs to dry up and go eat a boolit to the back of his head, and Bloomingturd just needs to go sit in his quiet space and play with his favorit cheesegrater! It's ironic that these assholes are willing to spend the kind of fortunes on sometbing that has no hope of actually happening , but that's not really the reason is it, it's "The Plan" what ever that is for a One World or what ever "IT" is! These guys need to look at the Australian example. In 1996 when semi auto longarms and pump action shotguns were restricted, very few got handed in. Most got buried or otherwise stashed away. As the owners get old they end up on the black market. Banning something doesn't make it magically dissappear

 

Not overnight, anyway. In the mean time every one that breaks and can't be repaired also can't be replaced. Eventually they will all be gone. At the same time weapons development for government agencies continues.

Absolutely! First, they have to repeal the 2nd, which is no easy thing to do, and as you stated there will be those who will simply refuse passively and others who will push back aggressively because it will indeed be the final straw where we become subjects, no longer citizens in control of our lives or country. We have loss most of that control already but this will be the nail in the coffin and many see it for what it truly means.

As far as 'Blue Hats' coming into the country, not going to happen. It would be definitely would be 'game on' for it provides an open declaration of war even to the fence sitters by invasion of America and very, very few Americans would stand for it and indeed would push back and I doubt not that those that approved the invasion would be put up against the nearest wall as traitors. Furthermore, what countries would provide the massive amount of necessary manpower and material needed? We're talking millions here. Russia, China? This is like throwing gasoline on the fire! Insane politically and would be nothing more than a rally cry to the rebellion's cause. Pakistan? Yeah, right, these so-called soldiers would accomplish nothing except filling their own body bags. Does anyone believe that the Brits or Germans would support sending their troops into a place that would make Afghanistan look like a child's play ground? This will never happen because the opposition is too smart to do this. No, they will do it the legal way, a piece at a time, pushing the propaganda and party line turning gun owners into criminals, neo-Nazis, or mentally disturbed redneck cowboys that cannot cope in a modern world.

One last point, America is not Australia. It is not Germany, France or United Kingdom and certainly not Brazil. I am not saying we are better because we are not. We do some things better than some countries and do some, too many in my mind, much, much worse. What I am saying is America's culture is unique just like every country's culture so what may be perfectly acceptable in another country would and will be considered illegal, traitorous, and nothing more than a means to subjugate its people, its citizens.

 

People will do nothing untill until it hurts them personally. When they are standing in a long line to turn in high cap mags, because if not your an instant fellon in your state and you risk imprisonment for non compliance. Not a big enough threat yet, make it semi auto rifles, then maybe people will stand up and do something about it. Legal means can only go so far, still have to get past the sniff test and that includes law enforcement. Will it come to that? Don't know, but were cruising down that road with one head light!

 

I will be dead and cold when that day comes! Nothing getting emplanted except maybe a bullet, tell them to make sure it's in the head, i don't want them bringin me back!

I honestly cannot think through this scenario and figure out how it could happen but if it does then it will means Civil War, simple as that. Winner take all. And frankly, I don't think the elites will to risk their power and status...nah, not when time is on their side. I think Hillary would have loved to try but do not believe those that pull her strings, her puppeteers, would have allowed it but admit she scared the hell out of me. Also, it is the old saying with a twist, "When America sneezes, the World catches a cold." Anything, that happens in this country reflects onto the rest of the world whether we like it or not and believe it or not the rest of the world does not want to see civil unrest, civil war in America - well - perhaps the Middle East want it but the rest certainly does not.

 

Sure seem to be heading down that path though! With all the political meddling, combined with serious anti gun politicking in the several states, what else could it be. We KNOW what "They" want! Big question is when will they really start taking!

 

That is indeed a good question. I truly thought with a majority in the Senate, House and Presidency we would see some changes real quick but...slow go, haven't seen anything major and if we don't - well - I guarantee it will be a clean sweep for Democrats next election and they WILL push some crap through just like they did ObamaCare. They are already posing for a election platform for Single Payer Healthcare which many find palatable to include me. But, back on point, I think it is more saber rattling than anything, meaningless right now...but later, who knows? Anyway, it all depends if the Republicans can get their act together but so far I've seen nothing impressive except a President that wants to get something done and a bunch of politicians on both sides that want status quo.

EDIT: I think you meant "Ok so far as it goes" In which case...Yes, I agree, it is all back-biting and fault finding instead of "A good plan violently executed now is better than a perfect plan executed next week." They need to get something in place, get something done. I was really hoping (and still am) that they will throw out ObamaCare so I don't get fined at year's end. President Trump is doing his best as canceled the executive order paying for it. Does anyone else find it strange that this is being funded via EO instead of being a line item on the budget?

EDIT: Isn't it strange that we have all these Republicans that are holding up progress for what this say are faults and shortfalls in the plan but the damn Democrats just Bing-Bam-Boom and Bill of thousands of pages that no one even knows what is in it passes like butter over toast...strange.

 

This country's established system is still so pissed that Killory didn't win that they are willing to eat there own to fight and block every thing this potus ever tries to do. Obummers did it by E.O. and no one batted an eye, Trump is trying to do it honestly, and every one is ready to string him up for it. They all fear his drain the swamp threat, and every one that opens their mouth is now a traitor to the country. Drastic times call for drastic measures, and me thinks a quantum shift is not far from happening.
