UN Official Admits Goal of ‘Climate Change’ Agenda Is to Destroy Capitalism

(Armstrong Economics) A shocking statement was made by a United Nations official Christiana Figueres at a news conference in Brussels. Figueres admitted that the Global Warming conspiracy set by the U.N.’s Framework Convention on Climate Change, of which she is the executive secretary, has a goal not of environmental activists to save the world from ecological calamity, but to destroy capitalism. She said very casually:

“This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the Industrial Revolution.”

She even restated that goal ensuring it was not a mistake: “This is probably the most difficult task we have ever given ourselves, which is to intentionally transform the economic development model for the first time in human history…”

You can pretty much guarantee, since it's been so openly embraced by the Democratic party, that it's all about CONTROL. Because they know what's best for us, haven't you heard??

One only has to look at the whole climate change debacle to see it's pure politics. Only those researchers who go along with the socialist narrative have gotten the big bucks in the past and all others are for the most part are not only shut out of the cash teat but also academia. So what would the argument look like if all sides were allowed equal funding and access.

There's very little argument that earths climate cycles. When I was in school we all learned that. Water levels are something like three hundred feet higher than they were at the last ice age. There are plateaus higher than three thousand feet with marine shells en mass. Cities under many meters of water and others on top of mountains that show signs of been sunken in the past. We live in a highly volatile environment shaped by highly variable cosmological and geological forces. Those who would be our overlords have used social programming and technical ignorance to create mass paradigms based mostly on fearmongering. Speaking of which where do we get most of our information? From the same entities who justifiably stand accused.

What the argument is about is control of carbon based energy and thereby control of economies. No one truly argues about the mass pollution of those nations who are most likely to benefit and those nations like the US who will suffer even though compared to say China and India we are squeaky clean.

Having watched the hysterical snowflakes on youtube, from the political elite to their lemming tools it's easy to see just how disastrous decades of democratic socialism in our government and universities have left our nation in peril. I don't exactly know how to state this other than the danger is real and we have been far too silent while the seeds of societal suicide have been planted deep into many into our nations impressionable and it will require great diligence and effort to pull out those weeds of destruction least we like other nations in the past find ourselves but one of histories footnotes.
