Greetings from a small outpost outside of Chi-town

    Hello! I am Atticus from another survival forum. I am a former Navy officer, and an Annapolis grad. I have a Master's in Accounting and a BS in History. I am an Eagle Scout, and took the Wilderness Survival merit badge in Scouts. I am married and have a teenage son who has autism.

    We live near the windy city because I mostly grew up here, and most of both our families are here. We are looking to relocate after I'm eligible to retire in a couple of years. Probably will go to Missouri, but could be anywhere else South. I've been prepping for a little over 19 years, but don't have a huge amount of stuff.

    Welcome from Alabama! I have BS degrees in Accounting and History." Accounting cause I needed to make a living, and History cause I love it.". That always got a chuckle or a grin in the School of Business, but not over in the School of Arts and Sciences.:LOL:

    I'm the same way. I love history, but couldn't imagine paying the bills with it. My dad was a teacher, and told me NEVER to go into teaching. Anyway, Accounting been very very good to me. Hope to practice in my new location after retirement.
