It's official. All three weather-prognosticating groundhogs saw their shadows. Punxatawny Phil, General Beauregard Lee in Georgia and Staten Island Chuck have all predicted another few weeks of winter. Brrrrrr..... I did not want to hear this.

I don't know - never know for sure - but - end of the workweek we are having a 40 degree day - bunch of 30s next week and supposed to go to mid-month >>> that's normal to above normal for us - the average temp climbs 10 degrees every 2 weeks from there - got some 60s by late March ......

I always use Valentine's Day as the winter crunch mid-point >>> gets a lot tougher for an artic blast - can still get one hell of a snowstorm but it's going to be melting fairly quik .......

Yep, he's my go to man... uh... whistlepig... for weather accuracy. Better accuracy rating than Phil. He's a lot closer to my home in Florida. :D

Major X class flare this morning and the accompanying proton storm has already hit.- wonder what effect this will have on the weather.
