Following abatement at Davis Park, intense cleanup begins Funny that the slugs set their own 'camp' on fire then blame the Muni......
Posted before took an Alaska cruise the only complaint was Anchorage was the pits saw what looked like homeless druggies hanging out --rest of Alaska was great
According to the news, "Campers?" What I saw was nothing more than a shanty town that was inhabited by bums and all the fun they bring along with them.
My town of approximately 80,000 has had an explosion of homeless people starting about 10 years ago. Even during the Great Recession, the homeless population was a very small blip with about very few street corner pan handlers. Today, you find them on almost every major intersection. There was a very large homeless camp that had over 100 of these “campers”. A few months ago, this camp had experienced 14 fentanyl/OD deaths in less than a week. Not a single one of these individuals were from this area, nor could the city/county locate any next of kin for the deceased individuals. So, the city went in and trespassed the camp inhabitants, then went in with a work crew dressed in hazmat suits to clean up the place. The city has also been working on breaking up any smaller camps located on public property. There was a big stink raised by the liberal/leftest, but could not find any legal ground to stand on to fight for these homeless addicts. The situation has improved but my town still has a way to go to get back to what it was.
