Wouldn't that be something if California splits... I haven't thought it through, but my initial reaction is I actually like the idea. Of course, it wouldn't happen as California Commies couldn't afford to lose some of their tax base as they are in the red now.

The idea of "The State of Jefferson" has been kicking around since at least 1941. Northern California and part of Southwest Oregon (south of Eugene).

 

Commiemexifornia is a failed state that should be cut loose from the rest of union. And I was born in that despicable place. Well, it wasn't at the time. But that will never happen unless there is a civil war or some other extraordinary event. They want the military bases too much. Same as Hawaii, which is an even worse anti-White commie libtard cluster****. If it weren't for the military bases (for their fantasy war with China, or something) and tourism, it would be a third world country. I joked that Hawaii should be an independent republic and Tulsi Gabbard could be the president.

There is a lot more traction this time around then at any time before!
Oregon has flat out had it with Portland ruling the state, the southern half and the entire eastern side want nothing to do with the ultra lefties of Portland, and there has been much effort to split the state and join with Idaho, so a "State of Jefferson" combination of Southern/eastern Oregon, along with Northern California, and Idaho isn't entirely fantasy!

What really needs to happen and those areas need to band together and start pushing back, recalling politicians and gooberners, and pushing hard against the lefties, enough to break the stranglehold these Democrat Super Majorities hold, once you break them, the real trick is to do what Trump is doing, shut them down and ensuring they never hold that kind of power ever again!

This fight needs to happen, and it needs to get nasty, our side needs to go full nuke on the Dems and destroy them, what ever it takes, we go full scorched earth and take back what is ours!
If we can do that, there is no need to split states, and this serves as a lesson in not allowing one party complete dominance in politics at any level! It should serve to get everyone off their couches and into the voting booths and voting like their lives depend on it!

For right now, we need to destroy Newsom, along with Kotex and Ferguson, along with state attorney generals, we do that, it's a no holds barred route on the Dems and their super Majorities, Game Over!

Folks that want to split state would be far outnumbered by those that don't

 

just an opinion... thinking there is a tremendous amount of ballot box stuffing going on in CA... again just an opinion...

 

Problem as was in the lead up to the civil war. The US won't let it happen as it would tend to change the balance in the senate. Most of the problems we face would be fixed if we went back to paper ballots and voter ID and in person voting. Do away with the ranked choice and go back to party voting. Right now the loaded primary system leads to people like the squad who are selected by a small percentage of the total who could register and vote. Too many don't bother to register or show up. Then you add gerrymandering and why even bother.

 

That is definitely supposed to happen. I have a really interesting article (somewhere) where is shows, in great detail, that it happened once before and is long overdue to happen again...but long overdue is a blink in time. Just think what that would do. It would not only ruin the 4th largest economy in the world, but I fear it also would hurt the nation too, hopefully not mortally but it sure would be felt and severely. It would definitely totally change America in minutes.

Let's not forget Eastern Washington either. They are very unhappy and are still pushing to join Idaho.

 

Yes, BUT . . .

If the northern CA counties wish to secede from California, on the basis that they are not being represented nor supported by the state government, and in fact that their resources are being diverted to and used by areas outside their control with no compensation, they might have a valid argument. The southwestern counties of Oregon could reasonably do the same, for the same reasons. Whether the rest of California or Oregon agrees or not doesn't matter. Representative republic vs. democracy, remember? Democracy is nothing more than majority rules. The rest of California doesn't live in the northern counties, therefore has no vote in the decision. Same with southern Oregon. Eastern Washington and eastern Oregon could combine and form their own state, or could choose to join Idaho, or make two new states They don't even need new names. We have north and south Carolina and Dakota, why not East and West Oregon and Washington?

Three new states? Cool! And why not? It's not like all borders were set in stone in the 1800s. Alaska and Hawaii were added as states after I was born.

 

I'm just going to say governments are freaking awesome at spending taxpayer money defending themselves and basically have an endless amount of time and money to fight any suit against them and they won't go along willingly with anything that diminishes their power.

I lived in eastern Washington for several years from late 90s-early 2000s. I regret leaving there now. Where I am in Nevada has become "East California."

 

The Eastern Washington folks are good common-sense people, and they get along with us here in North Idaho no problem, same sort of values. Many are moving here from Washington to get out from under the taxes. In fact, we have some new neighbors on my road who just arrived from the Spokane area. We also get a lot of Californians but even most of those are good people as they had enough of California BS and are more conservative than even us here. Idaho does have some whackos down South though...especially around Boise but we even gaining ground there too, thank goodness!

 

Now, this is the plain and simple truth!
