Got a Savage arms Springfield model 840 series E that's in dire need of a new or used stock! Any of you gun plumbers got any suggestions? Been looking on the internet but to little avail. Its chambered in 30/30. Another gift from my dad, I'd like to bring it back to it's former glory. Thanks guys.

Looked there, they have stocks with the curved trigger guard but the one I have is straight. Guess ill have to keep digging.
Too bad it wasn't a Model 99. I have a Fajen stock in a very high grade walnut I bought in maybe 1986? for my Dad's Savage 99 and the project never happened. When the rifle was passed to one of my older brothers he decided he didn't want the stock. It needed to be fitted, fore-stock shaped and both checkered and didn't want to do all that work, so I kept it.
