What I wouldn't give for a company to have some balls to sell to civilians as well. Not because one would ask "Why would a civi need it?", but because we are a free people (supposedly) and can have without needing a reason.

 

Sounds very like the gear used in the DMC Series by Rick Shelley. Makes me want to invest in a good thermal scope of some kind.
