Iowa Governor signs new Purchase/Carry law

  1. Iowa governor Kim Reynolds signed into law today a bill that provides for permit-less concealed carry and removed the need for a permit to purchase firearms from a dealer.

    You had to buy/beg the crown for a state issued gun permit in iowa?
     
  3. Re: #2. Yes we did. For much of my life. But no longer. And the "I" In Iowa is capitolized.

    We've had constitutional carry in Arizona for over ten years.

    Bill has passed legislature in Tennessee also, waiting on Governor to sign, which he will as he promoted the bill. Will take effect 1 July 2021.

    No word yet if those with permits will get a refund :D ($65 for 8yr, $300 for lifetime)
