I'm too tired to go look right now but I think it was 5 out of six were bad in the gifted lamp I am working on.
Gifted by a friend that did not want to waste his time.
Took about 4 weeks from HongKong direct for them to arrive.
Yup Pictures later when it rains or freezes.

@techsar [dunno] but seriously doubt it

ya normally need a gud driver/voltage regulator to run em properly

they aint got a visible heatsink either

high power LEDs usually require a gud heatsink plus regulated power at the exact proper voltage that is needed to drive that particular LED

not all LEDs are the same

Keep trying , I've gotten good ones out there in 12 volt DC that work well ,I have them all over my house,.

I repurpose old burnt incandeasant with DC 12 volt LED and wire in the lamps to my 12 volt wiring through out the house.
Before the LED was available i was using Quartz and other automotive lights .
