Has anyone seen these or tried them out? A co-worker was talking about it and I started looking them up they cost a little $$$. I'm not a huge whiskey person myself and then again as top shelf whiskey I have ever gotten was Jack Daniels. Like to hear what you all have to say.
Some of my friends are bourbon connoisseurs and they have a talent for spending quite a lot on rare whiskeys. I'm more of a gin drinker myself, but a good bourbon now and then is definitely on the menu. If you don't know what you're after, a subscription could be the ticket. I know it's the best way to sample a variety for little money, and I recommend this idea for cigars. The best cigar club to belong to is Cigar Federation (CigFed). But, if all you're looking for is to sample whiskey...there's a few out there I know of, and only one I could recommend based on what I know. That being Rackhouse, of course. Thought about it, but in the end I just started making my own. I can make the drink the way I like it and can experiment with different mashes, aging and final proof. Stop by the ABV Society on Skool and start making you own! ABV Society
I thought about making it but I don't drink. Wanted alcohol as a fuel source and for making biodiesel, Course if you make whiskey and the batch doesn't turn out perfect, you have to drink it to get rid of it. Alcohol is such a wonderful resource, drink it, burn it, use as a sanitizer, use as a solvent, lots of chemical reactions use it to remove water or as part of the reactions, stores for hundreds of years without going bad, has in past been a defacto money, almost as useful as vinegar.
