My biggest question if I lived in the South Pacific and the US became a lesser power would be if it was better to learn Mandarin or Cantonese. The thought saddens me, but the Queen doesn't have the power to hold China at bay.

I find politics in Australia interesting.

If not this cycle, the writing is on the wall, Daniel :5, and with the increased registration of those who favor the left, possible recruitment of new citizens by the left, ideological conditioning in all levels of education, control of the mass media, etc, change is going to occur and the left will sooner or later control this country. While there are two different predictions as to what will be the ultimate long term effects on the social fabric and economic well being of our country by a more socialistic system, the past history of such a change has not been good. I guess we will find out what happens, either quickly if Biden is elected or more slowly if Trump is re elected.

 

Honey Badgers and Jackals are not native to Australia. The commentator sounds a lot like Andrew Bolt bingeing on GBH, coke, and steroids.

The fix is in. I would accept the outcome of a fair election, but there is just too much evidence that things have gone afoul, and it should be corrected before a winner is declared. If the Democrats have a fool proof cheating plan and are allowed to go forward with it, then Democracy has ended in America. A lady I work with admitted she voted for Biden but was shocked at the election results because she was sure Trump would have a landslide victory. So was the rest of America and most foreign countries.
Folks aren't realizing the global implications of a Joe Biden presidency. When America is prosperous, as we are now, the world goes along for the ride. We are the economic trend setter of the world and Biden's already promised policy changes will bring a swift end to that.

 

Neither are cape buffs. But other creatures of the troublesome kind, some with only two legs, are.

 

And Australia could end up being owned by the Communist Chinese. Many of your countrymen are quite concerned about that very future. But it's maybe what you'd like. Biden isn't going to try to stop them if that's what they decide to do.

 

Most of the world should be very scared. Biden probably has a debt to pay to China, and will likely turn a blind eye to China's invasion of Taiwan. And likely anything else they want to do. The man has been in someone's pocket for 47 years.

 

Guess ol' Chell doesn't recall the millions of arms that were confiscated from citizens there just a few short years ago. Australia seems to have the most stringent commievirus19 laws. Can't blame a well groomed commie for what he's been manipulated into believing...

 

Sure, gun deaths went down, but knifing deaths rose to what, a 700% increase, or some ridiculous amount like that. Lol.
