I have had my Rossi 92 triple black in 357 mag. It's an awesome rifle I can hit steel 100 yards all day long. So I bought one optic for this weapon and it could not drop the dot low enough to even come close to the top of my front sight took several shoots and noticed it was fairly accurate out to an estimated 200 yards.

Yet that's not what this weapon is used for and I attempted again and again ever bought pistol sights and have the same problem. All the optics bottom out and they are 100 yards+ off.

So now I'm asking I'm I doing something wrong? I have spent $$$ on optics to get this to work for my wife she has a hard time with the sights because of her vision but she used it when she walked out dog around our property.

I'm I doing something wrong? Or I'm I just cursed with optics? My Banish 9K come on tomorrow! It's new home going to be on this lever action, but I'm going to try it on my PSA Daggers and I also have a PSA 9mm carbine, maybe 300 BLK .

I have a Simmons RedDot scope (no magnification) mounted to my M92 (44Mag). It has been zeroed in at 50 yards and is great. When I was using this for deer hunting my max shot would have been around 75 yards, which is why it was zeroed at 50.

How are you mounting the scope to the rifle?

SQ9532769. Have you considered something between standard issue open sights and optics?

I'm thinking something like a full buckhorn rear sight. I find it very fast, gives me three range selections with no adjustments and fits the style of the Winchester 94 it's on.
