It was another wonderful Christmas, just like always! I hope that y'all had the same, and a Happy New Year!
I had a wonderful, old time Christmas, A very good simple dinner with a group of old friends and family sitting around and talking and then going to the living room and talking for another 3 hours. Who had what, when ,and remembering things from the past. No TV, no computers, just talk. Only problem was that the youngest was 60 and the oldest 87. The younger ones were all off doing their own things. I expect TV and football etc. Somehow the idea of Christmas being a time to get together and enjoy the family and friends , celebrate the birth of Christ and to thank him for all the gifts he has given us in the previous year, has turned into giving gifts and bowl games and the playoffs.
I refuse to watch football on Christmas Eve or Day, even ALABAMA! That's what recordings and replays are for.
