Ingredients:1 qt. Vinegar (full strength) 1/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup salt 1/8 cup dry mustard 1/2 teaspoon alum Instructions : place 4 cups of cold water in a jar.peel and cut up cukes into finger sized pieces 3-4" long. Remove all seeds and place in jar. If wqter covers use seasonings as marked. If not, use larger mix of 1 gal vinegar, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup salt, 3/4 cup dry mustard and 1 teaspoon alum. Combine mix in bowl and stir. All ingredients MUST be desolved. Pour water off cukes, and pour mixture on cukes. Let stand for 2-3 days in dark place. Image:
