Got your bases covered...but where are the REAL knives? Come on man. Haha.
My "base" knife setup looks a lot like yours. Which model of Mora do you like best?
yeah, mora bushcraft signal is a great and solid knife. EDC: Eka swede 88 and Leatherman Crater c33x
Nice collection @Tommy07. I have three of those you pictured.
now u gotta tell me which ones let me just bet.. i'd say...mora companion, leatherman wingman and opinel?
I am assuming #4 is a Mora. Looks like mine. We also have the Swiss Army pocket knife and the Leatherman.
I have that French folding knife myself.
Do any of those knives have a gut hook?
Ok I'm a practical sort of gidget, so my question is... what do people do with all those knives?
I have one in my purse, one in the vehicle, one in the garden kit and of course BOB has one but other than cooking what do you all do with all those knives.???
BTW lovely collection!
I stick mine in various kits, because I keep losing them, and having to raid the storehouse!
Cut, slice, chop and poke things, @Ganado.
One in my rain coat, winter coat, BOB, glove box, up-stairs, in the potholder drawer and one in my purse. You never want to be without.
well i guess it depends on what im doing, but actually i don't have a so many knives really! anyway some are for when i go in the forest batoning, heavy duty thing, bushcraft. folding little knife are for every day carry. got 1 multitool. 1 alround craftline fixed blade and some are for fun.. not so many, just my bases covered @kellory no, no gut hook
Got this new guy today..

The mora is one that, for some reason, has never been added to my collection. I need to change that.
That's a beauty! Details....
Man mora is amazing.. i dont even call em cheap knives because they are not, i just call Mora inexpensive knives
I prefer the Companion series or Mora's. Molded handle, a bit thicker blade. DO NOT GET THE HEAVY!!! They are out of balance, and too thick to do the normal bushcraft things you pack a Mora along for.
What do you use for shelter/big tasks, @Tommy boy?
This question just made me realize that I might be a hoarder!
Which one to get??
my favs are:

I've been using these knives almost daily for the last couple of years gotta tell ya: by far best money I ever spent on a knife
bushcraft signal is great in my opinion i can cut down a birch with it no prob.
For production knives, I like Mora, Fallkniven, and Victorinox/Wenger among others. For machetes, Tramontina and Ontario are favorites.
I will have to look into those...thank you.
