New from So CA-hams?

    Hi Everyone,

    Just heard about the site on the "In Case of Emergency" show. Looking forward to all the great info. My husband and I both got our Technician class ham licenses yesterday so also looking for some other hams.

    We joke that we are the worst/best preppers. More prepared then anyone we know, but seriously lacking in some common sense areas. Looking forward to some good tips.

    Then you are in the right place. The Monkey Tree is the tree of Knowledge. There is a great deal to learn here. There are, by the way, quite a few hams here, and more every day.:)

    Again, Welcome to the Monkey Tree.... I am one of those Ham Monkeys, and have been in the Comms Biz for over 4 Decades. Both Commercial and Private, and also as an FCC Resident Field Agent..... We have an extensive Comms Forum here on the Monkey Site, for you and your Man to look at.... Both AlaskaChick & I are monkeys as well as Hams.... ......
