Hello Members,I’ll keep this intro short. I’m glad to have found this forum and am looking forward to digging into the older threads to build a solid foundation. I’ve picked up bits and pieces elsewhere, but I realized it was time to get more serious and learn from people with real-world experience. I’m based in Upstate NY, so I’m especially interested in prepping for colder climates and winter conditions. I look forward to learning, applying, and hopefully contributing where I can over time.
Howdy from Texas. I have spent almost a cumulative year in Syracuse during millwright work. I would start with foraging first, IMHO. Population density and the need to move around may hurt stockpile retainment.
Welcome! @NefeN After digging into older threads and our library, feel free to ask any questions because things are always changing with new devices hitting the market or new data on how to approach an old problem. Glad to have you! We're in North Idaho and folks here practice prudence and preparedness as a way of life or reality bites you in the a$$. LOL!
