A very well done propaganda piece for the new left. His works have replaced Das Kapital by Marx as the leading document for the far left. He has replaced God in the new world of politics. Don't have to watch it, but if you don't, you will not understand the effect his and others have had on the educational system that has been educating our children for at least the last 20 years. It is in fact a view of our culture and outlines the social and the desired changes in it that are a rejection of Christianity and replacing it with a new religion of secular humanity. In which man creates the religion it wishes and life in this world replaces the goals of eternal life. Rejecting God is in fact creating a new Godless religion that Lenin and Marx would have approved of.
For some reason, I couldn't view this and got 'browser doesn't support...' even though I'm using up to date Edge, so I had to go find it on YouTube. His first point on Democracy is spot on. I just spoke about this on another post/thread. Donors control politicians which controls government so... Basically, he was saying the same thing but corporations instead of donors. We'll get no real or needed changes due to this. We can rant and rave, but no real changes will occur...they cannot. Trump is the oddity and where this will lead is unknown...seems only two outcomes to me. Either it will go back to status quo, which is more than likely or the slim possibility of another Trump but sadly this isn't a real or long-term solution, and it could indeed blow up into something horrific. The video is pretty amazing, and I can understand why he has been such a social power. In truth, many of his points are valid. Yet, like most academia he offers no 'real' solutions. Communism is great on paper but in reality, doesn't work. Socialism barely works and only for a limited time and requires a government that is way too powerful. So, it is democracy via a Republic governed by a constitution which desperately needs changing but exactly what needs changing is what which will never allow it to change so... I watched 32 minutes of it. That was enough.
He is very smooth in his presentation and it's easy to see why people get sucked in to the whole thing. Many people have given up in their belief in God and are looking for a new belief system and they fall for the whole left wing system and they believe it is going to be different this time. A new class of suckers born every generation. Like the queer who would be the first to be destroyed by the very Muslims they support.
Forget religion and politics and corporations for a minute and consider the fact that humanity, by its very nature (at least for this iteration) has been mostly dedicated to killing each other. This is the way it has been since the earliest record of history, and this is still how it is even now. Civilizations have risen and fallen, nothing lasts forever, but one thing has remained the same. Humanity is still at odds with itself, finding bigger and better ways to commit murder and occasionally genocide. It is true that given the right conditions, a religious people can be peaceful and live in harmony. But as history has shown, this doesn't last very long. Sometimes, one religion is opposed to another. Sometimes, one religious sect murders the other, and back and forth it goes. So, do we blame those who are not religious, or is there something more to this picture? By our very nature of chasing greatness, following the Eagle and not the Serpent, humankind has essentially traded intrinsic wealth for spiritual growth. In ancient times, far before our own recorded history, the serpent mounds of North America and ancient carvings on cave walls only give us a hollow clue to those who may have been wiped out in a terrible cataclysm. The geological studies performed to date reveal there's a cyclical event on this planet, this incredible biosphere we call our own, and it happens every 6,000 years with the 12,000 year event being most severe. We are overdue for the big one this time around. It is my opinion to say we are each dealt an incredible opportunity to try to solve this riddle of our existence and maybe find answers to why we are here. If religion fills this void for you, all the better. But, we should never insist that others ought to believe everything you believe. We should instead present our ideas respectfully and try to see the big picture without judging others unless their actions are detrimental to your very existence. This is why I strongly support most Christians these days. It's because they stand between the darkness and the flame, ready to do battle if necessary. Time and time again, the Christians have been the first to be persecuted as a society decays, and they rarely ever go silently. So, one ought to be assured that we are in the right place at the right time and hold firmly to their faith, because God would not have ever led you down a path to be forgotten and left alone. You are here for a reason, and that reason is to testify to the truth, it is to remain faithful, to always try to be courageous and have the integrity to be honest. In the end, we are one. We are one people sharing the same experience in a world within an incredible universe for only a tiny fraction of time. Let's try not to be so hard on each other.
I have always believed we are here temporarily awaiting ascension to another plane of existence. Not sure why, just always have.
