North to Alaska by Fleataxi

I was introduced to this series of writings by WD. I have not read the whole series but I think it is a series worth sharing. North to Alaska was written by a man who believed in sharing his works. This is a lovely tribute to Fleataxi and his writing:

Below is book one. I will add this one and others to resources. I do believe this series is not only entertaining but also educational.

 

An entertaining series...too bad the final story was never finished

 

I guess this is the answer I was looking for, just the four books?

 

The fiction available written by Halffast, Jerry Young, scratchline, T.O.M. , is outstanding. Some of the newer authors, DKR, etc, are continuing the SHTF stories and are well worth reading for both enjoyment and valuable insight on the mindsets needed to survive. Thank you for this story and I am looking forward to the rest.

 

Yes, just four in this series. I like the way he writes and his character is quite practical. .

 

I liked his stories, and his screen name never failed to make me laugh. I "spoke" to him every now and then on another forum, and he was an all around good guy. I hated to hear of his passing back then.

 

I've started the first of these books. Hope to finish it by this afternoon or tonight.

 

Thank you Motomom34 from the bottom of my heart. Right after stumbling across HalfFast's Lights out, I found other Prep Fiction online. An FleaTaxi's North to Alaska series was among my most favorite. I even asked Jerry D. Young ig he could release a CD of all FleaTaxi stories like he did his own & Tired Old Man's stories. Never heard any more about it. Sadly lacking the PC skill to D/L it I came back yearly to read it again. Thanks to you it's now D/Led to my PC, an with a lil luck I'll soon have it on thumb drive & cd to keep & enjoy. So any more FleaTaxi stories you care to upload I promise will be sincerely enjoyed!
