I've always felt that public memorial ceremonies should be fairly short and kept simple, if for no other reason than those remembered didn't seek the attention (and would be embarrassed by it.) With Biden yapping, that's out the window. I see no rational reason for zero's presence at Arlington for any reason. He wasn't their president any more than he is mine. (I actually applaud his absence after all the un-American posturing.) To overstate the case by a long shot, I'd be more impressed if Khaddafi sat quietly in the front row. After all, we (and the Brits) ran the Nazis out of Libya in WWII, and he should be grateful.

1st Vist to Chicagoland Vet Cemetary What rankled my ass more than anything about the whole Memorial Day thing ..... he chose to "go home" to Chicago over Arlington Cemetary ...... he planned on giving a Memorial Day speech at a Chicagoland Veteran Cemetary (Lincoln Cemetary - Elwood IL) ....... rained out ..... said it was too dangerous weather conditions ....... It was reported that this would be his first vist to the Lincoln Cemetary ...... he was a Illinois Senator and state politician before that ....... never bothered to vist before now???
