I am selling a CMC TOKYO Gestapo P-38 firing replica prop gun. I do not know much about it but here are a few facts. These were very popular to the still-macho Japanese after disarmament following WWII and were made illegal in the mid-70s by a change of Japanese law. These are supposed to be fully functional and are blank firing. They were also popular in the movie industry. This is in unburnt condition. The 2 mil thick coating on the outside is magnesium or something and was prone to ignite! That had to have been exciting. Evidently, it didn't harm functionality to have this happen. I found it behind a generator on an RV I used to own. The guy I bought it from said he never knew it was there. Thus no provenance or background is available. I reckon some sailor brought it back. I have never fired it. It is mostly metal and maybe some bakelight and the parts all seem there to me. This looks like the lower end of the price ranges I could find and figured I would give it a shot here. 1st full price PM'd offer wins, highest offer less than $200 a week from posting wins, otherwise. Thanks, monkeys. At the least, it's an odd thing to talk about that fell out of the tree.
