I have used notebooks for a long time. From Moleskine, to Write In The Rain, to Field Notes, to Seven Seas, to Leuchturm 1917 in A5 and A6. A5 is the go to business size for you and the A6 or smaller for pocket catch all.

My friction point has always been getting meeting notes scanned and archived.

Found out the Japanese Plotter notebook system and I have to tell you, they are not cheap. But they are gorgeous and I started using them and like them. I have an A5 for my work notebook and a Mini5 for pocket catch all. It is close to half the size of an A6. Both are in leather. Horsehair green for the A5 and Pueblo beige Mini5.
I like the I can arrange and rearrange pages, take the ones I want to scan out to scan and I can print pages to insert.

So far so good. I have been defaulting to the A5 and because I feel more productive, I have been more productive.

I do a kind of hybrid bullet journal and meeting notes method.
