I've sat on the porch of my shop watching the tracking updates, and watched the van with the package on it drive past me.
Right, my son did the same thing and then had them lie to him that he was not at home. Yes they brought it right back and delivered by hand at 9PM.
I had 30 deliveries from UPS in previous 6 months. One of them the previous Friday, and another due the next Monday, followed by one due Wednesday. Monday's delivery was not delivered and online tracking said improper/incorrect street address. Called them the next day and got a total uncooperative belligerent so called A-hole on phone who basically believed their driver, and if I would provide an alternate street address they would attempt another delivery in next 3 days. I told him I received that prior delivery from them at the same CORRECT STREET ADDRESS that their driver was saying didn't exist. He said, alternate address or pick it up here in next 5 days or we send it back. I was totally pissed. The next day I was there when they opened with 9 delivery labels all with same CORRECT address cut from old delivery boxes delivered by them. I got a big sincere apology and also received the Wednesday package because they checked an it had already arrived there. The whole thing still stuck in my crawl because of that first belligerent CS Rep. I sent emails to the 3 top dogs of UPS explaining the whole damn mess and explained I also used Amazon prime, which I paid extra annually for, just to get my purchases in a timely expedited manner, and asks for $99 to cover my next years Prime fee. Even though all 3 of my emails indicated they were non deliverable, I received a phone call from an executive assistant who state she was told to contact me, and that they wanted happy customers and that they were sending a check for $150, with the extra for my time, wear and tear and gas for my car. I was happy once the check was cashed and cleared.
I tracked down the sender. They do about 1000 shipments a day or more. I'd bet they will not be happy! The Direct to Garment Experts
Had a knife shipped recently USPS that went from Houston to Alaska before finally getting to Oregon and only took 2 week to get here.
Bah thats easy piecy... In Finland if its 100 miles or less takes more than 2 weeks if from abroad I'm lucky to recieve the delivery at all if its local post office delivery.... I lost a big leatherwork materials delivery(it was over 1k euros in all) and they paid me in the end like few hundred euros .... So yea Your delivery was on time ROLF

Package shipped from Manchester (6-7 hours drive) 5 days Package shipped from Ireland (5 hours drive plus 2 hour ferry ride) 4 days Package shipped from Berwick on Tweed (3 & half hours drive) 6 days Letter from my Uncle in B.C. Canada (6000 miles give or take, and a large bit o’ water) 2 days.
One of my favorites is ordering from Amazon. Say I ordered it today & its supposed to be here by next Tuesday. They'll drag ass & FINALLY ship it out UPS Overnight shipping to my P.O. Box on Monday!!
