Hi everyone; been a v-e-r-y long time since I have been on this site. I am looking for a herbal medicine book with photographs of each herb, where it is found, growing instructions, etc. I have a good book called "Herbal Antibiotics - Natural Alternatives for Treating Drug-Resistant Bacteria" by Stephen Harrod Buhner. It is a good book, but no pictures of the herbs! I do not want to make a mistake identifying the wrong plant, especially if it is growing in the wild. Thanks for your help!
Rodale's Illustrated Encyclopedia of Herbs has lots of information(historical, culinary, medicinal and cultivation), but not too many color pictures. Penelope Ody has a good book that's all color(but I can't remember the name of it off the top of my head, and there are a couple more, but I'd have to look in my library to find the titles/authors for you.
