Part of the new gift of our attacks on Russia over the last few years has been the reversal of our arms limiting agreements. The new intermediate range missile used with either explosive or no warheads in the Ukraine had six separate warheads, each with 6 sub munitions. We used to have agreements that limited many of that sort of weapon and the warheads they carried. Russia may have the ability to replace the explosive sub munitions with atomic warheads. Might get interesting to be in the Med on a carrier if they fire a couple at you. A few seconds to detect, track, and launch against 12 or possibly 72 warheads, any one of which could destroy you and each on a separate track The Bikini tests with what is now considered a low yield, 23 kt warhead, showed that if the ships were hit, they would likely be destroyed. Operation Crossroads - Wikipedia Here is a very limited description of the missile. Oreshnik (missile) - Wikipedia And video of the impacts of multiple warheads from 1 missile and if you continue watching the whole clip, a rather biased view of Putin's actions and a continued attack on Trump as expected from CNN. Each of the streaks shown in the video could be nuclear and individually targeted if desired. Whole lot of shaking going on. https://www.cnn.com/2024/11/21/world/video/ukraine-russia-icbm-missile-ldn-digvid And here is Putin's comments on its use in the Ukraine and their continued use and development, Putin says Russia will continue testing new missile fired at Ukraine While I do not really like to quote Aljazeera, in some matters they are the closest to not having a dog in the fight that I can find. As a snide remark, I saw a piece that said to Comcast, MSNBC stood for Must Sell Network Before Christmas.
A few days late, but the Fox news report on it. They say inching towards a nuclear war. Does Fox news need a tin foil hat now or what goes on? We're ‘inching towards a nuclear war,’ says military intelligence analyst | Fox News Video
I've known since at least 2006 that aljazeera is more reliable than domestic mainstream media propaganda outlets.

2 to 12 MIRVs is possible, 16 MIRVs is possible, 16 is about da max, 20 ta 24 is theoretically possible, dat is pushin it, da practical max is 12-16 72 MIRVs is highly impractical, nearly impossible fer most missiles, ya got pics showin it has 72 MIRVs? reliable sources? da Trident 2 has 1-12 warheads, da rooskie satan 2 has 1-16 warheads, dat is da biggest ICBM dey have n it has a habit uv blowin up on da launchpad or in its silo da minuteman 3, can carry 3 MIRVs, was reduced ta 1 to comply with treaty obligations, it can be increased to 3 agin if required, da rooskies have been violatin 1 or more treaties, we withdrew from START 2 due to deir violations .. .. da small ICBM da oreshnik is based on only has 4 MIRVs, da IRBM version could carry 1 ta 4 MIRVs, possibly 10 ****, dey would have ta do yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge modifications tho, da original missile cannot carry dat much weight dere is a yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge math problem here jus sayn
They state that it has 6 buses which the video would indicate have separate guidance as they arrive at different times and different locations. No doubt they are nuclear capable. Each bus can have 6 sub warheads. They appear as a line or cluster in the video. Don't say if guided or if nuclear. That makes 36 warheads per missile and I would expect that they would fire more than one missile at a high value target. That would both insure against a failure if one failed, and saturate the area above the target with many objects appearing suddenly and in a diverse cluster. Even a bare minimum of 6 warheads, each capable of evasive movements, would be an interesting firing solution with a few seconds to identify, track, launch, and guide against multiple targets.
how much do they allegedly weigh? what are the missile stats? what are the sources? da parent missile could only carry 1,800 lbs. divide by 72 you get 25 lbs. each, that does not add up there is a weight problem n a volume problem 25 lbs. may not even be enough for a proper heat shield let alone a warhead da parent missile could carry up to 4 MIRVs 1,800 lbs. total, 450 lbs. per warhead, which is roughly what a real warhead weighs granted dey has modified da heck outta uv it .. .. da numbers aint addin up .. ..
Another video on break thru aspects of missile, hints at tac nuke threat. Sheer number of warheads and use of decoys designed to bleed missile defense asset dry. Any object could be warhead, have to shoot all down. Hints payload of parent missile in 1800 pound range.
https://www.reuters.com/world/europ...arheads-without-explosives-sources-2024-11-26 [ reuters ] da plot thickens da MIRVs were unarmed, no conventional splosives, no nukular, nuffin like dat, we dunno if dey had decoys, instrumentation, or wut .. .. dey was used ta test defenses n as a weapon of terror reuters in dis case seems ta be a reasonably reliable news source regardless uv politics jus sayn
