Too often, when we begin discussions about self-protection and security, the focus instantly becomes on the physical manifestations: fighting, whether with guns, knives, or empty-hands, and the physical fitness implications of that. What is too often overlooked, or at best, paid only lip-service, is the psychological and spiritual or mental, aspects of this portion of preparedness.
