Wasn't just you. Was dark for about two weeks. Join us over at Survival Monkeys - Index backup site for the latest word when you can't access the main SM site. Can't get all the answers all the time there, but it'll keep you in touch with a few Monkeys so you don't get lonely.

I thought the timing was interesting as well. I am aware of people who had suspicious Internet stuff happen at about the same time.

Hate to sound like a broken record, but I still would like to know what the hell actually happened? And, more to the point, what can we do to assure this doesn't happen again? EDIT: Sorry, I just saw this on another post: "Dunerunner: The server locked up at the Host site. They or someone re-booted the server. Unknown cause." This makes total sense because sometimes there just isn't a specific reason/cause that can be pinpointed for these devices to lock up.
Ditto. Couldn't figure what it was that I posted that caused me to get the cold shoulder silent treatment. Feel better now knowing it was an actual server issue (or was it external interference?).
