Many people are hypnotized by bullet power. As if foot-punds on impact are all that matter. If it won't stop a charging rhinoceros, it's not good enough for EDC. Or self-defense. I maintain that even the shortest .22 short can make an aggressor deeply regret his unacceptable behavior. It doesn't matter if the defender is 8 years old or a hundred and eight, male or female, healthy, or frail. Popping a cap (or five) in an assailant's face will make them cease & desist. Besides: You don't need a gun to stop a charging rhinoceros. All you need to do is take away its credit card.
