This is no toy. 1080 watt solar roof with adjustable angle. 5000 watt continuous ,10,000 surge inverter to run my well pump, chainsaw, tools, lights , fridge,
Another two 180 watt panels can be added when its working as stationary solar genny for total 1440 watts.

1978 Taylor Dunn 248b with mechanical speed control. emp proof, although the rest is not. With its 2000 lbs carrying capacity, and 5000 towing, its a real beast.

First, I would like to [welcomeLG] you to the forum.

Now, to comment, I like the whole "General Lee" look. Cool vehicle. You jump any embankments, rivers and such, with it, yet? :D

Yeah. I know. I was just funnin' ya.

Great idea you had there. Glad to see it works well for you, and serves as a portable AC power plant without having to pick it up and carry it wherever you need it.

It ran a 5100 btu window unit for 6 hours without draining batteries. Built to use as tool, but use it for fun at bike rallies.

Chuck, you have a rough life, sir. I am right there with ya, though. I hate it, but I hang in my hammock every chance I get. I mean, someone has to do the suffering for others. :D

John Schneider's studio is only about 50 miles from my place. In talks now to do Hay rides ( parking shuttle) from the parking lot to the concerts he holds. I plan on being in hammock as I greet the guests, while the son drives. LOL

Here's a couple of reasons why I chose a industrial cart for a solar generator .
    1) 6 big ass batteries just sitting there doing nothing, begging to be used as a bank for solar. No need to build storage rack for batteries.
    2) Length, regular golf carts don't have the length to hang much watts. Half of what I can hang on a burden cart.
    3) Solid steel body enables you to easily weld on solar top any place you like. Also thick enough to stop 22 lr.
    4) Carrying capacity, Towing, While these 36v carts are slow as hell at about 11-12 mph they can tow 5000 lbs, carry 2000 lbs. The 48v models are faster, tow a little more btw. Around 15 mph.
    5) Mobility, You can move it to get the right sun angles, hide it, or even drive into a barn to protect the panels from weather. Drive 5 miles away, cut down a tree with a electric chainsaw (in silence), and haul firewood back to BOL. Or simply move the power to wherever you need it. Like a neighbors to plug in their well or fridge.
