Would not have thought of that. Thank you, We use a lot of butter and didn't much have any realistic plans for beyond when the cow dies, other than roast beef.
BTW, I speaking metaphorically of the cow; I do not own one.

Great video Chell. This is so easy and the lady is correct, I have all this stuff in storage. Each oil will give it a slightly different taste, I wonder which one the kids will like.

The recipe. 3/4 c. powdered milk, 1/3 c. water, 1/4 c. oil(coconut, olive, sunflower, ect). You can also add yellow food coloring, salt, and butter flavoring if you want it.

It's nice, If one has the resources and the commitment to keeping a milch cow, but I doubt @ED GEiN is going to be able to accommodate a cow in his studio apartment. Powdered milk, and vegetable oil is doable however. ;)

I only buy the real stuff, the Kerry gold brand. It's more expensive, because it's worth it.

My Mother used margarine and Crisco because it was considered healthier that butter or lard...turns out that it wasn't. Hydrogenated oils and fats are like battery acid to your circulatory system. Butter and lard are better for you and taste better too! Some of the newer margarines are non-hydrogenated and are better for you, but I'll stick with butter.
