I’m not a big fan of saws for fieldcraft. The frontier historian in me balks at their use, in place of the belt axe, but….if you can avoid the “pruning saws uber alles” bushcraft banality, they offer–including the pruning saws–some significant benefits for fieldcraft use in survival situations.
