My insurance company had this deal where they would put a magic box in your car and depending on milage driven would adjust your car insurance. I can see the Insurance companies teaming up with the intrusive government to get this milage rip off going. If that happens I'll just do what the Illegals do and drive without insurance --for freakin years I have been paying for uninsured motorist insurance even though insurance is "mandatory " in my State. The way things are going maybe best to renounce your citizenship and claim illegal status just look at all the bennies you get over a legal taxpayer. Sorry Rant over

The democrats never met a tax they didn't like.
Using a tax to extort your rights appear to be a democrat thing. Poll taxes, NFA, hunting licenses, expensive gun permits all democrat brain childern.

Well they're going to have to go through both houses of Congress to get this passed. The Executive branch cannot impose taxes, only congress can do that.
I'm sure they're trying to figure out how to get that done, but in the end if it's an executive order it can and probably will be challenged in court.

Correct. Consider, tho', that some of the agencies are permitted to charge fees for whatever it is they do. And, those fees are NOT capped.
