Another Google giant clusterfuck that took down an OZ 401K type provider. And deleted their entire database + all backups as well. (no emoji found for this one)

Lesson
Never, ever have backup on the same server/service as your prime data
Have offsite, physical backups
Have service disruption insurance

Finally, if you're the IT guy, have a spooker kit on hand and be ready to head for the border....
