I weld about as well as an ex Twitter coder mines coal

They would NEVER do that, because coal is dirty and bad for the environment!

 

I can weld, but not that good! Lol!
Seriously, welding is super fun, and a serious skill to learn and use, it makes all sorts of wonderful (or terrible) things possible! I would love to teach anyone willing to learn!

 

If we were closer ,, I'd take ya up on that offer .
I bought one of them cheap Harbor Freight wire welders and have used it a good bit ,, sometimes my welds come out good ,, other times ,, not so good . Getting consistent welds is my problem . Keeping my puddle right , and wire speed is biggest problems . Once I get a little better with it ,, I'll break out the Lincoln Buzzbox .

 

I usually tell them that coal mining comes with all the free whine they want

 

If it is a flux core type , they are tricky and low on power , i have one as well as MIG,TIG,Stick,Gas,Plasma ,cold , air gouge (weld removing)spot welding and micro spot for battery packs, soldering machine for circuit boards .
