Voted for him and will again. As for his style and tweeting. He is from the New York City I remember from 30-50 years ago when I was in and out of there monthly or so. Brusque, busy, and get the job done. Doesn't offend me or put me off. As for tweeting he should keep at it. It is the only way to reach some of the young people we'll need to turn this nation around if it's not too late to do so. MAGA Mr. President. MY president.

He would not have been my 1st choice, definetly not the Hildabeast tho. In my opinion, she can't die soon enough, the bloodier and painful the better. Her corruption over the lifetime of her career, and the people that let it go and never did anything about it, just shows the level of corruption throughout our whole governmental system. Trump is a businessman, so he knows he has to work with different people with different ideas , which in my opinion is why he didn't fire every Dumbo leftover. But he should have fired every one of them unless they could have proved their loyalty. Term limits for all of them is needed, normal working man/woman salaries, gotta be PC here, no disrespect intended. Use the same insurance and healthcare we're forced to use, no lifetime salaries because you spent 1 term in office, that's eliteism, they feel they are above the law, which is being proved. Trump has good ideas for the country, better than most of them, most of them are their for their own personal gain, Trump tries to get things done, but is blocked from all sides, because he is not one of them. We didn't need another one of them. Any of the others running, would have been one of them, except for maybe 1or 2. There's more draining to be done, we need a fresh start in there with new, fresher people that wants to fix things, unlike what we've had for to long. Get rid of all these wasteful spending programs, lobbyists, etc. People could bitch less if Trump would stop tweeting, he needs to have a weekly news show transmitting directly from the White House and let people know what's going on instead of getting bits and pieces from 10 or more different stations.
Who would I have put in there , well , maybe any one of you guys or gals on this forum, you know what the working class is going thru, and could probably be as good or better fixing it than we've had, if you had the resources to do it. Hell, maybe even me.
We're all in a world of shit here, and very few people up there will even try to work together to try and fix it. That's why I feel they're there for their own personal agendas, and the swamp needs to continue to be drained. Fast.
I'm not a political person, never really followed it till the last 10 years or so, and this is a subject that doesn't have an ending, unless we do end up in a global nuclear war.

President Trump's tweets is the only way he can truly communicate with the people. The media twist and cherry picks all that he says. Please note: if you hear about what he said in a tweet via the media, go to twitter and read what he actually wrote. To many lies coming out of the media and they do all they can to destroy him.

As for me, I am still waiting for him to do what he said. He has failed to lock her up, he has failed to drain the swamp and Obamacare is still killing the middle class. Corporate taxes are looking at being lowered but the worker is still waiting for someone to look at what they pay in taxes. He has been in office one year and I realize that he has had one battle after another and that every obstacle the media and swamp can find, Trump has had to climb over. I wish him success because if he succeeds then we all do.

This is a picture that allegedly FLOTUS took. He has a whirlwind around him, while he is calm.

I voted Trump because he wasn’t Hitlery. The democrats have gone off the social marxist deep end. I would vote for a ham sammich if the only other choice was a democrat. Bring back classical liberalism. Bring back libertarianism not focused on pot!

There is to much corruption in government and too many levels of it and too much false information coming out of it influencing weak minded people . Of course people hate Trump, He is bucking the system . and the politicians are making every move he makes impossible .
The democrats will try to put another Obama/Hillery in place ,I bet some of you would like that.

Wow! So many good responses that I have nothing left to say so I will post the responses of others that reflect my views and which I think are the most important points. BTW I would have preferred Rand Paul as think he is the only decent politician of the lot:

@Motomom34 "President Trump's tweets is the only way he can truly communicate with the people. The media twist and cherry picks all that he says."
Yep! You nailed it. And, he knows this. And, the First Amendment allows him to do so even as President. I doubt he will run again so he has nothing to lose by calling "a spade, a spade."

@3M-TA3 "I think Trump's greatest accomplishment is showing all of us just how big and deep the swamp is and that the establishment Republicans are one and the same as establishment Democrats."
This is what I think is the biggest thing to come out of his election. I truly believe President Trump wants to do some great things for the country but the politicians are totally against him and fight him each step of the way so they can keep the status quo and/or their own special projects.

@Asia-Off-Grid "I would vote for him again, if for no other reason than he pisses the liberals (in many countries) off to no end."
Me too! He makes them nervous because they have absolutely no control over him and he shows them for what they truly are, wolves in sheep clothing.

@Seepalaces "We both voted for him, more as "never Clintons" and neither of us is unhappy about that decision."
This is the most important point, in my opinion. Think what would have happened if Hillary got in...dark days. I would have voted for anyone rather than have her, "there might not be anyone you want to vote for but there is always someone you want to vote against." We should be thankful we got President Trump even though he is rough-handed and fights dirty (which I like) because the alternative would have been a nightmare.

@T. Riley "Voted But, if he can place two or three more Conservatives on the Supreme Court I will vote to put his face on Mt. Rushmore.
@BTPost "... he got The Supreme Court Justice, nominated, and seated on the bench."
This is so huge a point that it cannot be overlooked. These damn judges with their lifelong tenure shape the future of the country. I am hoping he can put one more on the bench before he leaves office. I think Ginsburg was gambling on Hillary winning but now I believe she will stay to the end rather than give up the mantle of power...they will have to carry her corpse off the bench.

If Trump was off social media he would have been gone a long time ago. He is pretty much all alone up there, surrounded by the swamp. Only a handful in his party and even his cabinet support him and from day to day its hard to tell who they are. Our government is rotten to the core and most everyone knows it. Most just sit and watch. Then there is Trump.

"Our government is rotten to the core..."
So sad and a horrible thing to say or even think but it is absolutely true. I have now been back close to 3 years and I'm totally convinced this statement is 100% true. However, I also believe that two things have happened in the past years that are game changers:
    1. The American people got a total outsider elected, voting against all the propaganda, words of wisdom and words of future disaster.
    2. The Republicans have shown themselves to be exactly like the Democrats this past year, no better and no worse, wolves in sheep clothes preying on the American citizenry, using them as cannon fodder and piggy banks. They are one and the same and now the people know it and know them for what and who they are.

These things might mean nothing or they might have a huge meaning and impact in the future, wish I had a crystal ball...
President Trump has 3 more years to try and get something done. Personally, I support him all the way because even when he doesn't succeed it points out the 'dark forces' that put up the road blocks and shows them for what they are.

She is 84...and it is time for her to leave but she won't, not now with Trump in. She will wait and hold on in hope of the Democrats winning the next election and they will unless some damn things start getting done. So far, we have seen nothing major get passed and there is a hell'va lot to do. He has made some progress on the Immigration stuff only because he could do it on his own and he has been fought each and every step of the way but other than that...not much to show for the first year.

Hell, the Democrats are already signing up their flock to support a Single Payer Health Care platform for next election and if you don't think that will not get them elected - well - you're wrong. It will.

I think we could have a constitutional crisis over Ginsburg. She has already started exhibited signs of dementia, including referring to Lindsay Graham as one of the ladies in the senate. Pass the popcorn, it could get amusing this year.

I tell you I NEVER thought I would live to see the day that the US would be so screwed up that it is almost irreversible.
Maybe a coup or a second civil war would be the answer and that's crazy
It's not one party its money in politics it's the one party in control system no matter which party
It's corruption on a grand scale
And still the greatest country on earth go figure

Trump's type, if not Donnie himself, is what this country needs now. I'm sure he went in with the intention of running the country like a business and getting us out of the mess we're in, but has been met with nothing but opposition. I'm also pretty sure he didn't know he could be shut down at every turn. Not something a CEO expects. I was a Trump supporter from the primaries, being somewhat of an a$$ that speaks his mind myself. Since the election, I'm seeing economic growth, new business coming to town, and most importantly the PC socialism starting to give way. The stock market has shot to the moon and business is coming back from overseas and Mexico. So he's a loudmouth. So what. He is what we need right now.

I feel like this world will be manageable for the next three years but steadily growing more dangerous. I am planning a tactical retreat, not a rout but a retreat none the less. Trump is a distraction from what I believe would have been a greatly accelerated corruption of society. I have a three year plan and my boat as a backup escape, should my relocation to rural America be interrupted. I am done with politics, our Nation is beyond a political solution. I am done with political correctness, do whatever you want, doesn't bother me unless you expect me to believe it is normal. Pass all the gun laws you want, I will not comply with them, it is my RIGHT.
I will obey laws that are written to protect your rights and property, I will not obey laws that are written to take away your rights or property. I will drive the speed limit and pay my taxes and vote in local elections that will have an impact on my life, if this includes voting for a Trump to stop a Hillary, I will do that again but I will not be doing it with any belief that they will change anything much for the better.

Yup, as many, including me, forecast. A CEO says jump, and it's done. A political leader with few or no blind followers has to cajole. The orange man cannot do so, he tries bullying and fails. His wakeup to the facts of politics is a chore he's not yet completed.
