I took the above course Sunday in Maine put on by Weaponcraft and I found it to be quite helpful. The first half of the day focused on zeroing, different shooting positions, reloading and stationary shooting drills. The second half of the day focused on moving drills, transitioning to pistol, “Body Armor” drills and then stress fire situations. I recommend this course to anyone looking to improve upon their self defense skills with their AR15/AK or other carbine. (Yes there was one student running an AK) It was $175 for about 9 hours, and there were three instructors for 10 students. One of the instructors trains SWAT and other tactical teams for the police academy in Maine, another is a former Naval Special Warfare operator in Central America.
