    Regardless of what the map says, its single digits here now at only 9pm. Add the winter wind to that and in anybody's book, its bitterly cold. brrrrrrrrrrrrr

    Downright balmy here, 9 degrees not counting wind chill. Supposed to hit zero tonight. Gotta love winter in the NE, so far only 3 inches of snow total for the season.

    Been nearly 50F and raining the last week+ here in Anchortown.

    Man, I am getting depressed, it's like we got cheated out of winter.....

    Frankly I am loving the winter forecast of 40% warmer than normal. Low heating bills, less chance of catching colds, excellent fishing weather for inshore which I prefer. Swimsuit weather? Maybe not so much. Hopefully I can catch enough fish to can some, smoke some, eat some.

    We had about 8" last weekend that melted fairly quickly then another 8 or so during this week that's dry and powdery since its so cold. Unfortunately, there's an ice layer under the beautiful powder so walking from one place to another is an adventure. Wish my knees were good still good enough to hit the slopes.

    We had 48F this morning, and after 5 days of Hawaii Express running our Water Tanks are full again... Snow level is back up at 2000 Ft.... Mail Plane was on wheels this week, so saved a lot of Freight hauling up from the Airplane Float at Low Tide... No snow on the forcast untill a week from tomorrow... Yea, baby..

    Been in the low 70s here, a few degrees above normal. O'nite lows running down to a frigid mid 40s. Heater runs about once or twice every couple of days. Kind of sucks not having to pay for the electricity to run that thing :)

    I questioned that also. Currently we are above average temp and no moisture. We had a few fires pop up last weekend because it was high 60's. Then Alabama gets our snow. Very odd

    Long term forecast into 2018, so start of 2018 may be extra cold.
