It breaks my heart to share this sad news amongst friends, but Tim Copland aka Velzey lost his battle with cancer today, and we lost an absolute legendary gunsmith, and one hell of a great guy! Tim was a member here, always snooping around, but rarely posting, being as busy as he was, but he always talked about the monkey and what a source of value it was for all the information and the membership here! Several members here had the pleasure of knowing Tim and his family, many of us had lots of projects for Tim to work his unique magic on, and nobody was ever less then 100% completely satisfied with his work!! Tim was a true craftsman and an artist all rolled into one, his work spoke volumes with out a single word needed, and he was absolutely hilarious when ever we visited, I rarely left without my innards hurting from laughing so hard! The fact that @Ura-Ki could write such a eulogy shows the type of man Tim was. We all should live our lives in the same manner, such that someone could say the same about us. I didn't know you, but I wish I did, for I am poorer for it. God's peace onto you and your family.
Rest in peace Tim. I knew him from the web and work he did for me over the years. He was an excellent craftsman and a straight up good human being.
