Sittin' around the house today with about 6 inches of snow on the ground,,,,not really normal for my AO,,,,,had a mouse running around for a while,,,,don't bother me much,,,,,,well found out today,,,,my BB gun is not shootin' straight ,,,,,or I'm drinking to much,,,,,
I have shot a mouse with a 22lr in the house. It put a hole in the foor but that was fine since it was in demo at the time, so it only put a hole in the sub floor, then got covered up.
Well, my advice would be to drink a bit more for then one wouldn't care if they missed and if they hit then one wouldn't care they were chastised for making a mess and/or shooting guns off in the house. Yes, definitely more drink needed!
I used my Crossman .22cal. CO2 pistol. Laser accurate, just be careful what's behind - no windows! Had a severe mouse problem in my prior home. Final body count...... Mouse Pruf II poison - 8 (found) Pellet pistol - 10 Size 15 hiking boot - one very stupid mouse. For best results, locate their game trails, and put out bait. Turn lights low. Sit in easychair and wait. Popped one off the top of the VCR. Like hitting a horse with a 40mm cannon. Lead pellets don't bounce around like steel BBs. Eye protection a must! Yes, I am single........
I've dispatched my share of above ceiling possum nesters. With a .177 air rifle. They don't die easy.
My avatar(s) handled the mouse problem I had a few weeks ago as part of their Standing Orders. My problem was tracking down their egress route...
