Well That Didn't Last Very Dang Long

Greetings from the 5th floor of UMC, having just gotten here in a real room after a 2 day wait in the emergency center. Bummer.

Long story short, my shortness of breath has gotten quite a bit worse in the last few days so I had Sweetie drive me to the ER Sunday evening because of feeling pressure in upper left part of chest. It took several hours to get a bed in the ER but they did some tests, then on Monday another test or.two and today a CT scan and lung function test. To top things off, tomorrow I have an angioplasty scheduled. Maybe they'll finally figure our what the real problem is.

Thank you all. Hopefully the third time's the charm. Got all prepped tonight so I can sleep in a bit (yeah, right, like I'm going to get lots of sleep tonight lol).

Praying for you and wish for the best. The best thing is it sounds as if they caught it before you had a hear attack. Wife had open heart surgery and is doing much better now. The hard part is that the Lord has hit you over the head and now has your full attention, we changed our eating habits, use of salt, exercise, tried to lose weight, etc and listen to the doctor when he speaks.
