With all that rain they gotta learn how to swim. Looks like a duck does it quack like a duck---- then it ain't a potato. HA HA. Here in Coastal SC we have had dry periods and then periods of way too much rain all at once not great for the garden.
With late season blight potatoes are iffy here, gave up on them and with all the heat, rain and then cool, would seem to be a perfect storm for the blight this year. Nice looking potato.
We have not had much more than a dribble or two of rain in a long time..... need it here as everything is drying up.
Didn't get rain at the right times and got to much at the wrong times...... Made for a lot of split taters that won't keep unless canned
As a Southerner I want to thank the folks in the PNW for hogging all of the hot dry weather this year. Our summer has been cooler and wetter than usual. We had one of the wettest Julys on record. I'm liking this climate change....more snow, lower summer time temps. and more rain. Hell, we might even have a nice fall for a change.
