Been thinking a little Ruger M-77 in this flavor might be just the ticket! Nice and light, and no one "sees" it slung on your shoulder! I do like the idea or a semi auto that isn't a Komrad Klash Klunker, let us know how it turns out, especially the accuracy! if I can expect the same or better then my little SKS, I might just have a closer look!
C Products, 10 and 30 round mags, stainless and well made no jams. A couple of full mags in the 10 and one full mag in the 30. All slow fire for now and no Steel cased.
Close enough, the lip on each case was slightly bent by about 1/4 of an inch back from the edge. No real damage, just the force or extractor slamming it into the edge of the port as it left. They have as yours do the slight scratches on the rim. All rounds landed @ 4:00 in a neat pile about 10 feet back.
That's about right for an AR. With an AK the brass recovery hunt is FAR more challenging. Mine sprays MTs from about 2 o'clock to 5 o'clock from 5 feet to 30 feet away. Just for S&G, I left the dust cover off to see what the scatter factor might be, and LO!! they were all in a neat 5ft diameter circle 55 feet from the bench at 2 o'clock. Yep, you read it right, fifty five feet by tape measure.
Don't know if I missed some info before this thread, but what make is the upper. Looking at a 16" Palmetto make for $300 with free shipping and don't know if they are reliable.
