Ron paul is the only congressman that you can actually trust. I think the government would not be in the position they're in if he was in charge

GOP Primary: Perry 29%, Romney 18%, Bachmann 13% - Rasmussen Reports™ Once again, he's left out...mr. extremist. I like some of Bachmann's ideas, but really she doesn't have that much experience, which concerns me. At least Romney and Perry have run a state. I'm going to be highly miffed if Paul isn't allowed to debate with the others...shows me he's the one they're worried about.
Interesting... and I thought I would have to write him in. I am exceptionally glad the Newt and Romney haven't done as well as I expected. I guess even the hard core GOPers are looking for a new face. All in all, a good sign.

Paul has some serious problems, though I generally like and agree wth much of what he says. 1) He's simply too old - his choice of VEEP will be critical, as hemight well notmake it through a full term. 2) He has too much baggage from the Ultra-right Tinfoil Hat Brigade. The mainstream GOP voters won't support that. I have hopes his son will carry the torch as the Old Man finally retires.
It doesn't matter who we vote for because the popular vote doesn't elect presidents. Do I hope he gets elected? Yes, more than any of the other candidates... except for maybe Vermin Supreme.
