I add some Q-Tips to keep it from jiggling and making noise, but also to just have them as needed. I don't generally use this kit much, but over the years I have used it occasionally. It's probably best suited for a range bag or for mobile operations to compliment other kits. The reason I like this kit is the fact that it's well made, offering an aluminum container which also doubles as a handle when you screw in the rod attachment, and the rod pieces are all made of brass.

If I also carry some patches and oil or cleaning solvent, it would serve well enough for most needs. Because it is made of quality materials, compact, and basic, I think it's well worth the small investment. As I recall, I may have only paid about half as much as it's listed these days, but that's the economy for you.
