The results indicate the hotspot, which today fuels the famous geysers, mudpots, and fumaroles in Yellowstone National Park, may be waning in intensity. Another End of the World worry now over. Whew. So it moved a few miles, it isn't like we're any less screwed when it blows! Wouldn't want to be ANYWHERE on the northern Plains when that happens, nor the Great Lakes region, for that matter. Eventually it gets bad for everyone on the planet, what with the crop failures and the possible ice age.
